Nike Dunk Low ‘Michigan’ 2021
A low-top take on a Be True To Your School colorway that dropped in 1985 and was re-released in 2020, the Dunk Low ‘Michigan’ 2021 dropped in April 2021. The shoe’s upper is built entirely with leather, finished in a University of Michigan mix of Varsity Maize and Midnight Navy. A low-cut collar and nylon tongue, as well as a perforated toe box, support the fit, while underfoot, a concentric rubber outsole offers traction.

Another colorway of Peter Moore’s legendary 1985 design is on the way, with an all-new Nike Dunk Low “Midnight Navy” expected to hit shelves in early 2023. Centered around a creamy leather upper, the pair piles on some Nike, Inc. heritage with navy blue leather overlays and grey suedes at the Swoosh sand heel overlays in a style reminiscent of the original Air Jordan 1 CO.JP release. The pair is met by college-inspired NIKE tongue tags, navy laces and liners, and a clean white and navy sole unit underfoot.

This Nike Dunk Low is as classic as they come, with a white leather base and pale pink panels. The sneaker gets its “Pink Velvet” nickname from the soft velvet heel tab on the back. This luxe detail features embroidered Nike branding in a complementary shade of red, that corresponds with the logo on the tongue. To bring everything together, this sneaker gets a sleek metallic finish, as the Nike Swoosh is made with a shiny pink leather.

Recalling a simple color-blocking from the "Be True to Your School" series from 1985, the 'Team Red' edition of the Nike Dunk Low utilizes an all-leather upper with a white base and contrasting red panels. Based on an original basketball design, the cupsole features a foam midsole on top of a durable rubber outsole with a modified traction pattern. Nike and Swoosh logos can be found on the woven tongue tag as well as the back heel, similar to the original release.

There’s no way around it, 2021 has been all about the Nike Dunk Low. While the silhouette has been dominating our monthly release rundowns every month with handfuls of new colorways, Nike still continues to progress the silhouette in new and interesting makeovers to keep fans coming back for more. While Nike has visited shades of pink in the past this year in the form of the Laser Orange rendition, they never really added a signature pink offering to the silhouette but now that changes with this new “Archeo Pink” offering.

The Nike Dunk Low SE 'Lottery Pack - Grey Fog' draws inspiration from those who seek games of chance with the hope of winning big. The classic low-top basketball silhouette features an all-leather upper with a white base and grey overlays. A black Nike Swoosh highlights the upper but also makes subtle reference to a lottery scratch off as it displays small bursts of color. A grey rubber outsole secures the build of the sneaker while an interior foam wedge provides lightweight cushioning.
